Brief Answer:
?? threatened abortion being suspected

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. At 6 weeks, your hCG level should be anywhere between 1,080 - 56,500. Your levels are indeed between the normal range, but in my opinion are low. For this reason your doctor has prescribed duphaston which will support your pregnancy and prevent any undesired events.

The duphaston is a pregnancy supporting medication, and the risk you are at now is a threatened abortion. I would recommend complete bed rest and to take the prescribed medication religiously. I would also suggest bringing up the possibility of initiating hCG injections with your doctor, but I would leave the decision entirely up to your doctor as he/she would know what is best for you.

I hope and pray all goes well and you have an uneventful pregnancy that concludes with a beautiful child for you to treasure. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best of luck.

The hcg level has decreased to 2352. Does it mean miscarige? Can hcg level increase if I take duphaston?

Brief Answer:
Need ultrasound to confirm the miscarriage

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

A further drop in hCG levels raises serious doubt about a possibly missed abortion. I would recommend an ultrasound investigation to be conducted to help visualize the gestational sac and fetal pole; if absent then the diagnosis would be a miscarriage ma'am. I am sorry to inform you about the same.

Best wishes ma'am.

Hcg level today is 1800. The sac is there but it is early to detect a heartbeat as the doctor said

Brief Answer:
Not good news ma'am, sadly

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

The hCG level is further dropping, which is not good news, sadly. But as your doctor said rightly, your sac is too early to adequately visualize and so you should report for a repeat scan in about 2 weeks to check on the status of your pregnancy. I believe in being XXXXXXX ma'am, and because of the low hCG level it does seem like you have or will suffer an abortion.

For now, please continue with bed rest and the duphaston ma'am. I hope and pray all goes well and all happens for the best.

Please do not hesitate to write back to me for anything ma'am, I am always here to help you.

Best wishes.
