Brief Answer:
Management of acne

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I can understand your concern but I would recommend you to upload the photographs of your face so that I can grade the severity of your acne and can guide you accordingly.
Moreover for acne scars topical treatments are not very effective.
You need to go either microneedling or laser treatment.
Multiple sessions will be required and improvement is around 70-75 percent.
With these also don't expect 100 percent disappearance of the scars.
The amount of sweat produced varies from person to person.
If you have excessive sweating you can use aluminium chloride hexahydrate lotion at night on the areas of excessive sweating like underarms or hands and wash it off in the morning.
This will reduce sweating.

Brief Answer:
Management of acne

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs and can appreciate pimples as well as scars.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to start with capsule minocycline 100 mg once daily at bedtime and apply gel containing benzoyl peroxide and adapelene on these pimples at night.
These need to be continued for atleast 6-8 weeks to show significant response and further under the supervision of the doctor.
For scars I would recommend you to apply glycolic acid 6 percent gel on the scars at night.
This can be used till the time your pimples settle and your acne becomes inactive.
After that you can go for laser treatment or microneedling sessions for scar reduction.
Also use salicylic acid facewash twice daily.
Avoid oiling of scalp, keep your face dry, don't pick pimples, reduce the intake of sugary foods and use cosmetics labelled as noncomedogenic.

Brief Answer:
Don't use the gels you are already using

Detailed Answer:
Go for saslic face wash from cipla and use cosmetics from cetaphil or neutrogena which are labelled as noncomedogenic.
Don't use any of the products you are already using.
Resoft lotion contains liquid paraffin which will increase your pimples.
Melapik cream and sofradex cream both contain steroids which will again aggravate your acne.

Thanks for the advice. I searched on the net and found the foam face wash is available but I could not make out for the cosmetics from citaphil or Neutrogena.
The products I am currently using has reduced my acne from last 1 month but few more have come up. So should I discontinue it's use from today onwards? Also can you name the gels containing benzoyl peroxide and adapelene for pimples. For scars glycolic acid 6 percent gel?

Brief Answer:
Epiduo gel or minoz bpo gel, glyco cream

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Yes discontinue the products you are using as it can aggravate your acne.
Many combinations of adapelene and benzoyl peroxide are available in the market like epiduo gel or minoz BPO gel. You can buy either of the two .
Both are equally effective.
For scars you can use glyco cream at night.
As far as products are concerned you can use cetaphil moisturising lotion or cetaphil sunscreen. They are noncomedogenic.

Thanks for Advice.
One thing i want to know if epiduo gel or minoz BPO gel is to applied in the day time as you have advised glyco cream is to be used at night for scars. These creams are easily available in the market? Should these be applied with the hand or with cotton?
