Question: Hello
Around the time that I'm about to get my period unnoticed that my discharge always has littles specs of white the size of glitter. I had thought it was a yeast infection and I purchased the cream and it actually led to a yeast infection. Is this normal.

Brief Answer:
Explanation is given below....

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to healthcare magic .

I have read your question carefully and understand your concern.

Vaginal discharge changes in the different time of women cycle ,due to changes of female hormones ,especially estrogen.

Yeast infection usually appear with genital itching with or not genital swelling ,and/or burning during intercourse and not only with changes of vaginal discharges.

Use of anti-yeast infection cream doesn't led to yeast infection but it can be due to any other reason such as low immunity.

To relive any discomfort you have you can try :
Sitz baths with warm water four times per day
Probiotics ,BID for 10 days
Cranberry tea (2 liter per day )until the symptoms will subside .

If after you will follow these advice ,your discomfort will not pass than see a gynecologist for a pelvic exam with vaginal swab .

Hope I have been helpful and please feel free for further discussion.

Best regards
