Suggest Treatment For White Patches On Inner Cheeks

Question: I have white patches in my inner cheeks, I have visited dr and took nystatin for one week thrush on my tonge is less now but the patches are still there, are these patches normal? I dont know if these patches were there or are they new!! I've also had tensilectomy 13 years ago.

Hi, thanks for your query. After viewing your photo, I am in the opinion that your are having white patches more on the tongue. your posterior pharyngeal wall looks very congested suggesting infection. If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days to reduce the throat congestion with candid mouth paint for local application over the tongue for thrush.
Vitamin supplement will also be helpful.
