Question: My 8 year old grandaughter was swimming in a pool today and now she is suffering from
water in her left ear. She has been jumping and hanging upside down without success
to let the water run out. What do you suggest we can do at home? I may not have any alcohol.

Brief Answer:
Cotton swabs

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Place cotton balls at the exit of the ear canal. Male them big enough that they do not slip inside the ear canal. Slowly the cotton ball will adsorb the water without any complication.

Regards,
