Hello
Thanks for writing to us

Main finding is decreased vitamin D level.
Your wife may need vitamin D supplementation.I advise my patients to take one vitamin D tablet weekly for eight weeks then one tablet can be taken once monthly for six months.
Patient should also take calcium rich foods like milk and its products.
She should continue taking shelcal.
She should also expose herself to sunlight at least for five minutes daily.

Thyroid profile is within normal limit.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.

Thanks doctor - i have two follow up questions:

1- my wife also has calculus measuring 7.5mm in her left kidney. Would taking shelcal impact it and ok?

2- could you please recommend a vitamin d aupplement tablet?
