Question: My bottom lip has recently developed a number of darker spots and is not as pink as it used to be. I am having trouble finding possible reasons. The only thing I can find that might be is a vitamin B deficiency and I have begun for the past few weeks to take supplements but have not seen any improvements

Brief Answer:
Vitamin deficiency

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
Blackening of lips is due to vitamin deficiency or draining due to tobacco.
Take vitamin supplements for at least 3 months and use some home remedies like applying coconut oil and lemon.
Avoid any tobacco use or smoking.
It will take a bit longer time for the results to show up. So be compliant and have patience.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Wish you get well soon.
Thanks and regards
