Question: My doctor told me I have viral syndrome. What is it and how long does it last?

This can last 7 days, or more, however if it continues then we may worry

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. The viral syndrome should be combated by the body's natural defenses, not if this continues for over 7 days or so, we fear that a bacterial infection can be superimposed (take advantage of your weak immunity) and you may succumb illness. I would watch for worsening symptoms, fever, chills, nausea and vomiting to clues that this viral syndrome is getting worse. Good luck and take care.
