Thrush is commonly caused by friction, trauma and is more common in women with diabetes.
Use of clotrimazole vaginal tablets once every night for 7 days as well as washing the clothes in hot water and drying them in sunlight helps kills residual fungi and prevent reinfection.
Also have a blood sugar checked if the thrush is resistant or recurrent. You may need oral antidungal drugs like fluconazole for 5-7 days to help kill the fungi if they are not responding to vaginal tablets.
About the anal lump, it could vary from infection to piles [ hemorrhoids], to a sentinal tag and so on. So it is better to get an examination. Use of topical mixed antifungal and antibacterial creams help along with warm compresses.
