Suggest Treatment For Typhoid Fever
Question: My daughter aged 13 was diagnosed positive in widal test. She was prescribed to take zifi o 200 mg for total 8 days. She responded to medicine within 3 days. She continued with boiled and very low fat diet for two weeks. Since she do not have fever for more than two weeks she took pizza with extra cheese and cake etc on brothers b'day. Since nothing happened she took spicy and butter etc for next 2 - 3 days. Now problem started very high fever 103 + and vomiting etc.
Now doctor prescribed zifi plane 200 mg bd, tab acitop sos, cap B Lactose OD and tab for committing. However theses medicine didn't help her and had fever 103 after taking acitop.
On revisiting now following medicines are prescribed for 2days with advise to revisit
Nimo plus 1 x Bd
B Lacto 1 x of
Zifi o 200mg 1xbd
She has very low appetite.
Please suggest.

1. v&m syrup by alkem laboratories 10ml twice and
2. MULMIN PRO two scoop with milk
however after taking above she had loose motion thrice today. and she is complaining stomach ache.
Now sir suggest how many more days we should continue with zifi o and b-lacto and which medicine should be taken for loose motion and stomach ache. Should we use protein by amway as nutrition supplement for speedy recovery.

You have to complete course of antibiotics as advised by your doctor but at least 10-14 days.
Loose motion will be controlled by zifi-o. You can take ORS powder to avoid dehydration and avoid too much milk also as it can cause gas problem. Also take prebiotics that will restore the gut flora and will increase appetite. Take antacid before meal for stomach problem.
Please avoid fatty, oily food and complete the course.
