Suggest Treatment For Tooth And Gum Pain

Question: hi Doctor my son is having tooth ache. he could not sleep properly due to pain. first he complained about gum ache and then tooth ache. we have the xray report . could you kindly give us advise?

I have read your query and understand your concern. As far as toothache and gum pain of your son is concerned this can be due to Caries or Periodontal problem .
Can you upload image of gum and tooth along with Xray report that will be more helpful for me to arrive at conclusion and give you proper diagnosis .
Inmeantime based on details provided i will suggest you few measures for him:
- warm salt water rinses 2 to 3 times a day .
- Maintain good oral hygiene .
- You can give him Analgesic medicine Paracetamol or Ibugesic for pain with vitamin Bcomplex by consulting with local doctor .

I have gone through the xray report you have attached. As far as i have observed your son has deep caries in posterior teeth and that is causing pain in tooth and gum region .
For this Roshini i will suggest you to consult Pedodontist and go for treatment Pulpectomy of carious tooth .
Inmeantime i will suggest him salt water rinses.
-You can give him Medicine like syrup Ibugesic or Paracetamol for painwith vitamin B complex .
-Maintain good oral hygiene .
-Use flouride toothpaste to brush his teeth .
