Brief Answer:
Cause of symptoms and need of more detail

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. These symptoms can be due to many reasons like-

: Vitamin deficiency like B12, folic acid, vitamin E

: Anaemia - Iron deficiency anaemia can present like that. Symptoms are common if Hb is less than 8

: Poor diet or anorexia - If she is underweight according to her height, these symptoms can appear due to less carbohydrates and protein in body

: Chronic fatigue syndrome - continuous work and mental stress can cause such symptoms.

: Excessive physical stress - Doing excessive physical work/exercise can cause such symptoms

: Dehydration and loss of minerals - It can occur due to working in hot climate, excessive exertion and not taking fluids/water accordingly.

: Anxiety - Anxiety can cause these symptoms. it can be suspected if all of the above causes are ruled out and she feels these symptoms more commonly while facing somebody or mental stress.

Now to confirm diagnosis, I need few answers like -

: What is her height and body weight ?
: Was there any history of chronic illness, low Hb ?
: Is she stressed - mentally and physically ?
: Are there any precipitating and relieving factors ?
: Is there any history of anxiety in her or family ?
: Are there any other symptoms like numbness, focal deficit, balance problem, fever, weight loss, loss of appetite ?

Please give me these details and answers of above questions, it will help me in reaching some conclusion.

Thanks. Take care.

Brief Answer:
Cause of illness

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, welcome back.

Her height is good. She is slightly more weight than according to her height. But that is not problem if her fat distribution is normal (it means no belly fat). If she is very stressed, then it must be the cause of her symptoms.

Continuous stress can cause anxiety, depression.

You should ask her

: To avoid mental stress
: Do exercise or Yoga daily.
: Mediation will help a lot
: She can also indulge in her hobbies. It will relax her mind.
: Ask her to take few days leave from work and travel some tourist place. It reduces stress a lot. She will rejuvenated after it.
: If she has friends, she can hang out with them. Both of you can talk and try to solve problems.
: She can also consult Psychiatrist for counselling. If needed, he might start her on antidepressants or anxiolytics or both.

Also, please rule out above mentioned causes to exclude any organic illness.

Thanks. If still in doubt, do let me know.

Take care
