Brief Answer:
bacterial pharyngitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

The symptoms, to me suggests bacterial pharyngitis. In addition to analgesics, this need antibiotics for a few days. We usually give antibiotics like azithromycin or amoxicillin+clavulonate for 3 to 5 days. If the pain does not come down in 2 days of starting antibiotics, we will have to look for complications like tonsillar or pharyngeal abscess.

Your doctor will guide you through these steps.

The ear problem results from eustachian tube dysfunction secondary to pharyngitis, and will respond to the same treatment.

Meanwhile, you can continue taking Advil. Also, avoid cold drinks and do frequent warm saline gargles.

Hope this will answer your query.
If you have further questions, I will be happy to help.
Wishing for a faster cure.
Thank you.
