Brief Answer:
Thin skin and hair loss

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
Thickness of skin is determined by the amount of subcutaneous fat , muco-polysacharides and elastin and collagen in the skin. In thin individuals usually the skin is thin. Usually thickness of skin is constitutional. Some conditions which cause thinning later will be long term local applications of topical steroids or intake of systemic steroids for long duration.
Hair loss could be due to a lot of reasons.
Is you hair loss restricted only to front of scalp and centre of head with normal hair over back of scalp and sides ? Or is it diffuse from all over the scalp ?
Approximately how many hairs fall per day ?
How long have you been having hair fall ?
Any stressful events 3-4 months prior to onset of hair fall like a surgery, accident, illness, fever or severe mental stress ?
Kindly get back with above details.
For diffuse hair fall lasting for more than 6 months(Chronic Telogen effluvium), I usually do the following tests
Hemoglobin
Serum Ferritin
Thyroid function test
ANA
VDRL

Hope this helped, Kindly get back with details of hair loss.
Take care.
