Brief Answer:
need some more details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

You feel that you are being looked at by someone. You are unable to relax when you are around people.

I can understand your concerns.

But I would like to ask for few more details so that I can guide you better:

1. Do you also feel that someone is following you, plotting against you, controlling your actions and mind?
2. Do you develop symptoms like restlessness, increased heart beat, dizziness, breathlessness, whenever you are surrounded by people or alone?all of sudden?
3. How has your mood been over past few weeks? anxious, sad, worried, fearful, irritable, angry?
3. Do you also hear some sounds which others cannot hear? Some thing like hallucinations?
4. How about your sleep, appetite and energy levels? sudden anger outbursts?
5. Which doctor have you consulted for this?
6. Do you take alcohol, smoke?

I understand this is a slightly long list of questions. But your answers to these will help me to give you best possible suggestions.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
relaxation exercises; cut down alcohol.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the replies.

It really has helped me to understand your better.

I was concerned as the symptoms which you mentioned earlier could be a part of psychosis. But with your replies in follow-up, I am sure that this is not psychosis.

I think this is most probably an anxiety spectrum disorder, either a social anxiety disorder or a generalized anxiety disorder.

I would just like to ask a few more questions:
1. How are your confidence levels these days?
2. Do you feel your muscles are tensed for most of the time?
3. Do you feel anxious most of the time in the day or its just when you are about to face people?

I have some suggestions for you:
1. Practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.
2. Cut down on your alcohol. Alcohol can increase your problem in future.
3. Psychological methods like progressive muscle relaxation therapy can help reduce anxiety levels.

Hope to hear from you soon.

I do hope that my suggestions would be of some help to you.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
pregabalin will help.

Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the late response.

Its good and very helpful to get the details from you.

I am now very sure that your have anxiety spectrum issues and this is fairly treatable.

You should never be scared to face people. Everyone is special in whatever he is. Just remember this fact. Always be confident. Never feel inferior to anyone.

For now, I think you would need some medicines which will help you to control your anxiety.

In my opinion, the best drug for you would be pregabalin (prescription drug). This drug has a broad spectrum action. It will take care of your anxiety, muscle twitching and panic.

Start with deep breathing and meditation. This will boost your natural brain chemicals and improve you confidence and decrease anxiety.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to ask further.

Thanks.
