Brief Answer:
seems like an allergic attack

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Welcome to Health Care Magic.
My name is Dr Muhammad Ahmad & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.

I am sorry to know about the problem your father is having and i will try to rectify the issue and tell you the solution and possible causes.

Possible causes:
DRUG:
Mostly attacks like this result from a drug allergy, if it happened to him after any drug intake kindly ask your doctor for an alternative.

FOOD:
some foods like peanuts ,other nuts, shells and sea food can cause allergy.

Clothes:
Some fibre types can cause allergy.

IDIOPATHIC":
rash without a particular defined reason can also happen .

What can be done:

The first step is cintrizine or any other antihistamine for daily use till you feel comfortable leaving it but indeed there b=can be few times when allergic response is so over whelming that citrizine alone can't be helpful.

SUGGESTIONS:

1- Calm him down.

2- Stop the drug or any other cause of allergy you can think of.

3- You can give citerizine now , its ok to give it twice a day in acute attack.

4- If it doesn't settle kindly visit an ER to gt a steroid shot or IV antihistamin treatment.

5- Check his BP time to time.

6- He should drink good quantitiy of water.

7- Don't worry this should subside in some time.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
