Brief Answer:
No need for antibiotics,PLS consult ENT specialist

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

From what you are describing, it seems that you have been suffering of external ear channel inflammation. That could have been caused because you might have the habit of using cotton buds to clean the ear channel and because you were sensitive to Q-Tip.

As long as the swelling has gone, and it is getting better, there is no need for antibiotic. The oily light yellow substance coming from it, might be the wax. The wax itself would serve as a cleanser for ear.

Please do:
- use cotton buds only to clean the external surface, do not go deeper
- do not scratch the area

The ringing in your ears might be related to overproduction of ear wax. I advise to consult an ENT specialist to have a look at your ear as you might need a specialized cleaning of ear wax.

Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have further queries!
