Brief Answer:
Antineuralgic medicines/Spinal exercises/Rheumatologist's opinion.

Detailed Answer:
Hixxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I have gone through the MRI spine report you have uploaded. It says L3-L4,L4-L5 and L5-S1 disc bulges with mild secondary canal stenosis. In addition,it also mentions of L5-S1 facet joint arthritis and left sided sacro-iliitis.

As far as disc bulges causing mild secondary canal stenosis is concerned,it should improve with antineuralgic medicines(like pregabalin, gabapentin, amitriptyline or duloxetine),calcium/vitamin D and methylcobalamin supplementation.Along with, regular spinal exercises(under the guidance of an expert physiotherapist) and posture training is of paramount importance for improvement in symptoms.

Regarding, facet joint arthritis and sacroiliitis,I suggest you to please consult a Rheumatologist as these entities need a rheumatological work up for etiology, depending upon which the treatment can be decided.

Hope this might be of some help.As you must be having some further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Thank you for the response. As I am a very active person in general I'm wondering if I am still able to participate in jogging and weight training?

Brief Answer:
Weight training may worsen problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Jxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

Though jogging should not cause any issue but weight training may worsen the symptoms. If at all, you want to get involved in strength training, please do it under the expert guidance of a physical therapist, who can guide you well what exercises to do and what to avoid. Some of the weight training exercises can be hazardous for spine.

Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
