Brief Answer:
It's due to amlodac. Check echocardiography needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
First, you may have the symptoms due to ingestion of amlodac.
This medicine is very effective for blood pressure, and is known to cause this side effect.
The best solution would be to change to a different group of blood pressure medicine to avoid this. I would usually suggest Olmesartan.

Second possibility is a cardiac failure which may be silent in diabetics or present with subtle signs such as edema. So I would suggest testing with a echocardiography.

Third, in diabetics, kidneys are affected sooner or later. Hence edema can develop due to this cause as well. Testing with a KFT and urine microalbumin needed to test this possibility.

As you can see, the medicine cannot be suggested in view of lack of testing. So I suggest testing the above. I would be happy to help you further thereafter.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.

Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your response.
And apologies for the inconvenience.
See, the voice changes may also be caused by edema.
And this is most common with heart failure.
That's how I suggested echocardiography.
I hope that answers you.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal
