Brief Answer:
Not related to polio drops

Detailed Answer:
Hi...This is not related to polio drops.
I have gone through the photos you have provided. Nothing to worry. This looks like simple skin allergy or heat rash.

I suggest you use calamine lotion as its giving results along with oral antiallergic like Hydroxyziine (Atarax) or Cetrizine. Most important thing to be remembered is that it has a propensity to recur (called as second crop) within 10-14 days. If this happens, you can start using the same medicine but I suggest you get the kid evaluated with your pediatrician.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

Its not reducing after giving atarax also and applied oilatum lotion which her paediatrician prescribed. Today morning it spread on to face also. 2 weeks back, she had hives/ urticaria. Doctor prescribed omnacortil forte, I gave only 2 doses and it reduced. After a week now this type of allergy occurred. Can give omnacortil forte only for this.

Brief Answer:
Usually it will take 1 week to 10 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi...

Once allergy starts it will take 1 week to 10 days to settle. Omnacortil is a corticosteroid which need not be used for simple allergy. The effect may be very fast with Omnacortil but the side effects also are there as it is a steroid.

As I had suggested in my previous interaction - it may recur in 10-14 days. That is what is happening in your kid right now.

If you feel she is not at all improving, you can consult your dermatologist and proceed further. As such I do not recommend using corticosteroids for this as it will take some time to settle. If her activity is fine and otherwise she is normal, you need not be worried.
