Detailed Answer:
hello,
Is she a hypertensive, heart disease patient, is there any history of snoring, swelling of legs etc.
She needs to be evaluated for shortness of breath. Considering, that she doesn't have any significant past history of major illness, the two possibilities are, dysfunction of heart may be diastolic or systolic and may be obesity related. Also, anemia could cause this.
So I would advise to visit local doctor for examination and gets some investigations done like Hemogram, LFT/ RFT, ECG, 2D Echo and chest x Ray. I think It should be clear after these investigation.
Till the time she should restrict her fluid intake especially less than 1 litre per day if having more. She may need diuretics later after diagnosis is confirmed. Hope this helps you and get back if you have some more information to share or any doubts.
