Question: I currently suffer with lupus but have recently had all over pain that includes numbness tingling she is getting up and down stairs to shortness of breath tightness in my chest numbness in my hands and feet falling often just generalized all of her pain not able to concentrate or use words without swearing them and also being extremely forgetful I am currently on 5 mg of prednisone twice a day and 200 mg of Paxil and L twice a day and have recently started another new center for the pain I also take Zoloft 200 mg a day for the anxiety and depression but given my physical status of just gotten much worse I live in a small town and wanted to know if it would be beneficial to see a neurologist when I go to do go to the emergency room they tend to just send me home and say it's unrelated to the lupus and I have never been followed up with another rheumatologist but I think maybe it's time to see a different neurologist or Rhumatologist or anyone else that you might think might be of help
