I can understand your concern.
Well, best treatment for allergy is identification of allergen and if possible complete avoidance of it.
So, you should avoid dust, strong smell, chocolate, bakery items etc in your son.
Intranasal spray containing steroids (fluticasone) is beneficial for sneezing.
Also get done detailed allergy testing to identify the causative allergens.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.

Well it is very difficult to say and predict allergies.
But it has been observed that with development of child, immunity also develops and changes. So some children improve after 14-15 years in allergy.
And why drug is not working, is probably that his allergy is too strong.

No...tablets were suggested by a pediatrician. Its heard that some medicines given for allegies have side effects that makes the person allergic to more things..is it true? Already my son cant eat several food stuffs...will the matter get worse when given other strong medicines for the allergy ?
