Question: hello. my grand father's age is 74. yesterday while sitting on the sofa he suddenly experienced a pain in the left side in between the leg and lowerabdomen joint.after standing up he told that the pain have disappeared.but today he is telling that he idms having a pain again while walking or standing.if it is being pressed it is paining and inflammation to that portion is also there.what should i do? can i give him thrombophob gel?or any diclofenac tablets to reduce inflammation and pain?please suggest

Pain in walking,standing or pressing the joint area mandates that a hip joint pathology should be ruled out.
So,please get him examined by an orthopaedic surgeon or a rheumatologist.

Meanwhile,Diclofenac will help ease the pain. Thrombophob gel is not indicated here as it is mainly used to dissolve clotted blood.
