The gas seems to be attacking the head straightway. Tried all kinds of diet with no success so far. The stomach remains bloated for many days. I take "Headset" (Sumatriptan+Naproxen) that gives me relief however not sure if this is the only option for me. How can you help doctor?

Hey Doctor,

Here is my response to the queries:

1 What all symptoms do you have during an attack like vomiting, vision problem or nasal congestion or watering of eye - Yes all that happens if let the headache get worsen
2. Duration of headache - it mostly starts when I wake up
3 Any trigger or relieving factor if you could identify any - Anxiety or any sound around me triggers it. Feel relieved if I lay down in a room with zero noise.
4. Relevant medical history - BP rises to 95/145. Mother has similar problem.
5. since how long you have this problem? It's been more than 4 to 5 years. The frequency was lower earlier however now it is almost once or twice in a week.

Two main issues to notice -
1. My stomach remains bloated for many days
2. Unable to pass stool every 24 hrs (no constipation though and it comes perfectly normal)

I work in the night shifts so unable to sleep at a stretch in the morning. Apparently, digestive has become week.
When I was working in the day, I was still getting these headaches.

finally, I want to get relieved from these headaches and bloated stomach

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Please consider these guidelines

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks a lot for your to the point reply I really appreciate that.

Looking at your detailed description, your symptoms are pointing towards Migraine which can be related to altered biological clock ( working in night shift)
In my opinion you should ask your doctor for prophylactic treatment for migraine which I am sure your doctor knows and may help you as well.

Bloating and weak digestion can be caused by medicine Headset which you are taking for migraine due to excess production of acids in the stomach
So I would advise you to take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or omeprazole with antacids for 10 to 15 days

you should also avoid spicy and junk food or carbonated drinks
Complete abstinence of alcohol or smoking if you are into it.
Avoid excess stress and anxiety, remain cheerful and enjoy your life

Hope this answers your question Please feel free to ask for more clarification I will be happy to help you
Best wishes

Thanks Doctor.

Some clarifications here,

1. I am not into drinking or smoking at all and don't consume any carbonated drinks or junk food
2. Every sort of food (even tried to live on fruits) I have tried, still no relief from Acidity
3. The problem of stomach bloating due to acidity is not recent, it's been there for several years now
4. I did not find any relief even when I was working normally in day shifts
5. Tries Pan D, Pantocid DSR, with no success
6. Anxiety comes sometimes in this material world which is uncontrollable however I don't think it is the main cause of head aches

I want to get rid of;
1. Acidity problem
2. Normal stool passage
3. and finally the Headaches

Thanks.

Please consider these advise

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for your reply
For acidity you need to address the underlying cause for this which can be infection of H Pylori bacteria or chronic gastritis

So if I were your treating doctor I would have put on triple regime of antibiotic and anti acidity medicines for 10 to 15 days
If it doesn't subside with this, than I would have referred to a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy or a biopsy if need be.

For normal passage of stool I would advise you take lots of dietary fibers in your diet and stool softening agent like liquid paraffin until bowel habits regularised.
For headache you can ask your doctor for prophylaxis treatment and avoidance of all kind of triggering factor.

Hope this helps you please don't hesitate to ask for follow up question if anything not clear.
Best wishes
