Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back Pain

Question: For a week now I have had back pain on my lower back (rib case area) and surprisingly I have bruises that are circular in natue in that area. I have not hit anything or fallen. I have done ice packs and applied heat as well, Doan's pill and Aleve. It goes away and then returns.
