Question: My symptons are severe lower back pain on my left side. I also haven't had a bowel movement in days. But I don't feel constipated.

Hi
first you should try a laxative like lactulose etc. If motions are clear than probably your pain will subsides, but if not, I advised you to go for a stool test and ultrasound. In your age group, I would like to rule out possibility of tumours also.
