Brief Answer:
What other symptoms is she having?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this. What medications did she receive? It might not fit squarely with tension headaches because of the presence of fever. I will like to hear them say an infectious process such be evaluated and rolled out as opposed to settling so cheaply with a tension headache diagnosis. While it might be invasive, I will recommend a lumbar tap and analysis to exclude any possible infection of the brain tissue. Fever, headaches and stiff neck are not to be taken lightly.

However, a scan would be helpful in the evaluation process as well. Keep me posted on this. Do not shy from asking the actor whether he thinks your niece could be having meningitis and hear what he says.

I hop this helps. I wish your niece a quick recovery. Keep me updated on the progress.
