Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Nausea

default
Posted on Tue, 2 Feb 2016
Question: I've been having the same headache for the past 5 days. I can't make out where the headache starts, but I know for certain, my eyes seem to be affected. The back of my eyes hurt. But I also have pain stemming from the back left side of my head. The whole left side of my head hurts. I've been putting off going to the ER and with my insurance, I'm not sure where to go. I've also had some nausea start as well. What could this be?

Brief Answer:
Bad teeth/sinusitis/spondyloarthrosis of neck&other causes to headache...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear

I am sorry for the headaches you are having.

Possible causes include:
- bad teeth
- sinusitis (inflammation/infection of sinuses) consequently to a viral infection
- increased eye pressure (perhaps staying in front of TV/computer for long times)
- spondyloarthrosis of the vertebral spine (neck part)
- increased blood pressure (bp);

I advise to measure your bp, record the results to pass them to your doctor. As it has been going for 5 days now and tylenol is not helping, then, should see your physician and discuss with him/her about my other options as possible causes.

Wish fast recovery!
