There are many causes of hair fall and treatment depends on the cause.
The most common causes of hair loss encoutered in females are anaemia, thyroid disorders, past history of fevers like typhoid, dengue, history of recent accidents, surgery or trauma, chronic diseases, certain drugs, Polycystic ovarian disease, stress and after child birth.
I would recommend you to go for the following tests : thyroid function tests, haemoglobin, serum ferritin levels and ultrasound pelvis to exclude polycystic ovarian disease. The test can be easily performed through your local doctor. He/she can order the tests.
Meanwhile she can start with hair supplement tablets like tablet keraglo XXXXXXX or tablet follihair once daily.
