Question: For the past 10 years, i have been losing my hair at the top of my head. I've had a thyroid test done and it was normal. I've been to Hair Club and tried minozidil, vitamins and the laser comb without any improvement. Is there anything else i can do?

Brief Answer:
Several causes of hair loss

Detailed Answer:
Good day,

Noted your concern. Hypothyroidism is just one of the several causes of hair fall. If the thyroid functions are normal, you should get a CBC, Vitamin B6 and B12 levels as well. Deficiencies of Iron, Vitamin B12 and B6 are also other causes of hair loss. In addition, stress, anxiety, lack of sleep, depression etc are other causes of hair loss.

If you are losing hair on the sides of scalp ( male pattern baldness) it could be due to excess male hormone production in the body.
Regards
Binu
