Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue With Tremors And Pain In The Body
Question: I was diagnosed in March 2016. I have severe body tremors, Fibromyalgia w/ Dementia/Alzheimers and Bi-Polar massive depressive, no roller coasting. No true test for Lyme, false/neg positive..Who can I believe? Very tire, feel like a slug, no energy..I am 64yrs old.

The only way to rule out Lyme disease is to get a blood test for IgM and IgG antibody titers. However, from your description of your symptoms, this does not sound at all like Lyme disease. It sounds more like a major depressive episode, which has many somatic components including tremors, pain, and lack of energy. I would consider adding an antidepressant such as Zoloft or Lexapro to your regimen to help boost your mood and cure your somatic symptoms of depression.

I forgot to tell you about my memory..Lost car keys, found them in the Fridge, lost my toothbrush found it in the freezer. Left in my car & had no idea where I was going..Bad thyroid I wear wigs due to hair loss..I've lost 2 wigs, never to be seen again, $150 worth..Even the trazadone& xtra valium does not help me sleep for the insomnia & restless leg.. I fall asleep between 6-8 am My DR. just wants to put a bandaid pn things & NOT cure me...Does this infor help you more? XXXX

I would get formal cognitive testing including a MOCA, an MRI, and consider the possibility this could be Alzheimer's. However, the fact that you are taking a benzodiazepine (Valium) itself could be the cause of memory loss, so you shold consider weaning off of it. Plus, depression can cause memory and cognitive issues that may mimic dementia. So my suggestion to add an antidepressant still stands, too.
