Suggest Treatment For Severe Body Pain

Question: bad accident...can not operate...been on fentanyl for first 5 years...body got used to it n did not work anymore..new pain dr. put me on methadone..up to now 90 mg daily,,,still in pain ...Now .!! body has become used to it , so does not work anymore... is there a better medicine on the market that can help with the pain...pain level a 10 ..without the methadone.. a 5-6 with it at present HELP HELP .!!!!

Hi, if you are taking an opioid for long time, body gets used to it and effect doesnt come that good. Methadone again being an opioid will not have much use.
The best case scenario is to get adjuvants like pregabalin 75 mg once daily, or gabapentin 400 mg once daily to your regimen through your GP.

NEXT approach is to get a pain killer of another group say NSAIDs like aceclofenac 200 mg twice daily or diclofenac sodium 50 mg three times a day. These two drugs come in combination with acetaminophen 500 mg, that is advantageous if taken.

Another approach is to ask your doctor to not to continue one opioid for long say a year or more.

Get in touch with your GP for the drug prescription, I am sure he ll oblige.
