Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety

Question: Hi there, I had a c section on 10/3 and due to adhesions, my bladder was nicked by the surgeon. I had a catheter for 9 days and then it was removed. Since then I have been recovering well, with occasional urgency. I have a few questions about my recovery.

1. Everything I have read online says that you should do a voiding test, and in some cases a special test with XXXXXXX to determine if your bladder has healed. My doctor did not do any special tests at all. I’m fact he simply removed the catheter and sent me home. I am concerned that he did not take the proper steps to ensure it was healed.

2. Are there any special precautions I should take? Such as not letting my bladder get too full? Or making sure to urinate every couple hours to avoid it getting too full? Is it okay to sleep on my side or should I sleep on my back? If so, how long should I continue these precautions?

3. What are the chances that I will develop some other problem, now that I am 18 days post-op? I have extreme anxiety and can not help but worry that something will go wrong. Is there anything I can do to better ensure I will heal properly?

Thank you very much for your time.
