I was able to resolve my anxiety with lorazepam, metorprolol, and sertraline before. But my psychiatrist added geodon, and it gave me akathisia and restless legs, so then he gave me cogentin, and it made suffer severe constipation and it left me very dry.

I was admitted to a psych ward for having severe akathisia and restless legs. They gave me cogentin. Several nights there, I woke up drenched in sweat even though the air was cold and the air conditioning was full blast.

Few months later, I was suffering from severe constipation and I had an acute colitis after waking up in the middle of the night and I went to the ER. They gave me antibiotics.

I went to the ER with the same stomach pain, chest pain, and headache. They injected me with iodine IV for the CT scan and my heart rate went as high as 164 bpm.

Right now, I am very sensitive to medicine. I cannot tolerate the doses of medicine that I was being able to before.

Currently, I am only taking low doses of metoprolol, lorazepam, occasionally prilosec and colace.

Could the inguinial hernia be causing the blood abnormalities and thus the symptoms?

I have been seeing a lot of doctors already and they cannot give me a definite diagnosis.

Attached are the blood tests from various hospitals I went to.

Brief Answer:
ANXIETY NEUROSIS.

Detailed Answer:
DEAR Bxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
THANKS FOR POSING YOUR PROBLEM. HAVING GONE THROUGH YOUR COMPLETE HISTORY, I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE SOME ANXIETY DISORDER, THOUGH YOU MAY HESITATE TO ACCEPT IT BUT IT IS ENGRAVED IN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND. THIS IS THE REASON THAT YOU ARE GETTING ALL THESE SYMPTOMS DURING THE DAY AND AT NIGHT TIME AS YOU ARE AT REST YOUR ALL THESE PROBLEMS VANISH. YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN TREATED BY A PSYCHIATRIST AND THE MEDICATION PROVIDED BY HIM HAS INITIALLY HELPED YOU. SINCE IT IS A CHRONIC PROGRESSIVE DISORDER THE CHANGE AND PERMUTATION OF MEDICINES IS NEEDED TO KEEP THE DISORDER UNDER CONTROL.
IN ADDITION YOU HAVE DEFINITELY HEMATOLOGICAL PROBLEM OF POLYCLONAL HYPERGAMAGLOBINAEMIA WHICH INCREASES THE BLOOD VISCOSITY AND AGGRAVATES THE PROBLEMS WHICH YOU HAVE DESCRIBED. IN ADDITION TO PSYCHIATRIC COUNSELLING YOU NEED A HEMATOLOGISTS APPROACH AS WELL.
IN SHORT I WILL ADVISE TO REASSURE YOURSELF TO COME OUT OF THE ANXIETY DISORDER, BY BEING STRONG AND BOLD AND TO CONTINUE SYMPTOMATIC SUPPORTIVE TREATMENT FOR THE VAGUE DISTURBING SYMPTOMS. IF YOU SUCCEED IN COMING OUT OF THE ANXIETY DISORDER, YOUR MOST OF THE PROBLEMS WILL VANISH AS THE GAMAGLOBINAEMIA NORMALLY DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY TREATMENT.
PRAY YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO CONTROL YOUR MIND TO BE EMOTIONALLY STRONG AND GET RID OF THE PROBLEM.
TRULY,
DR. J. TICKU
