Brief Answer:
upper respiratory tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,

From your symptoms it appears that you are suffering from upper respiratory tract infection.
It is usually viral in nature so symptomatic treatment will usually suffice.

Please follow some general measures like
1) Drink plenty of fluids upto 4-5 litres per day.
2) Warm salt water gargling 5 times daily.
3) Avoid using air conditioning and do not drink or eat cold foods.
4) Get plenty of rest.
5) Eat vitamin C rich fruits like oranges, mosambi and lemons.
6) Steam inhalation 5 times daily.

You can continue to take allercet. For the headache and throat pain you can take paracetamol after confirming your dose.

If you do not feel better in a few days then you will need a course of antibiotics so please see a doctor.

Feel free to follow up,
Regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi MS (ENT).
