Brief Answer:
vasculitis is treatable

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Vasculitis is treatable, however time span required may vary from weeks to months or sometimes years.
Firstly, I need to confirm the diagnosis.
I would appreciate if you could upload pics clearly showing your skin lesions and your doctor's prescription.
I would like to know where are these lesions present
Since how long are you having these lesions
If you have any other underlying medical disorder
If blood investigations or any ultrasound was done
If the diagnosis was confirmed by skin biopsy
Any other medicines that your using other than dapsone.

Please answer these questions and upload the pics so that we can carry the discussion further.
Waiting to hear from you.

Brief Answer:
continue dapsone.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for providing all the details. Though you haven't attached a pic but by description provided and investigations done, I too agree with the diagnosis of vasculitis.
Once all the underlying causes like autoimmune diseases, infections, drug induced vascilitis has been ruled out, we start the patient on tapering doses of steroid. Other drugs like NSAID( indomethacin), dapsone, hydroxychloroquine can be added. vasculitis usually takes weeks to months to resolve. As you are having response with dapsone, continue it for two to three weeks and then taper it to one tablet every alternate day ie do not stop it abruptly. Also use a mild steroid cream like fluticasone cream over affected area. If the disease is controlled at tapered doses of dapsone, we will taper it further. But still dapsone needs to be continued till remission is achieved.
Hope this helped.
Take care
