Question: Pcp says i have prostatis and gave me cipro,can that cause urethrea discomfort?

As we discussed earlier prostatitis is very much likely the cause for your symptoms and it can lead to urethral discomfort and urinary discomfort. ciprofloxacin is a well prescribed antibiotic and should be followed up with good hydration, compliance to medications, good coital and toilet habits preferably abstinence for a while and followup after a week with your doctor once the dosage is completed.
