Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Blood In Stool
Question: Blood in stool
Brief Answer:
You should be examined clinically.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Blood in the stool could be due to Haemorrhoids (Piles) commonly. If it is associated with pain, it could be due to Fissure in ano. These both conditions can be differentiated by clinical examination by a Surgeon.
If these conditions are not present,Colonoscopy has to be done to exclude lesions in large bowel.
Treatment depends on the cause of bleeding per rectum.
Please consult a General Surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly .
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
