Question: I've had regular colon cancer screenings over the last 15 years that have all turned out fine. (my father died of colon cancer when he was 47yrs old). My next scheduled screening is this Oct. I have just rencently noticed bleeding around the rectum. No bloody stools. Should I have this checked out before my Ot. appt. I was thinking this bleeding might be associated with an irritation more than colon. What do you think?

Hello. You should check this out

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So the most common cause of rectal bleed is still the haemorrhoids. But you must get a colonoscopy done to rule out malignancy and get relieved.
Thanks and regards
