Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain After Ingunial Hernia Surgery

Question: I had right ingunial hernia surgery 1 month ago and I'm still experiencing pain. It is not intense, but it makes walking hurt. The pain is located right on the scar line. I saw my surgeon two weeks ago and he assured me all was fine. Any help would be appreciated

1. I don't have any pain meds
2. The pain starts from the right edge of the scar to the middle part and right above that area.
3. The right edge of the scar is a little more red than the rest of the scar
