Question: Hi I'm currently having an issue. Under my penis head where the frenulum seperates the glans I'm having some inflammation and irritation. No discharge at all and not itchy. A slight sting when urine touches it but not through the urethra. Feels like when it makes contact with that area. No bumps or sores.any idea of what this can be ?

Brief Answer:
Likely to be a small abrasion or sore

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
There's likely to be a small sore or abrasion.
This can occur with sexual intercourse or masturbation. There is a risk of a herpes infection also if you had unprotected sex.
If there's no chance of a herpes infection, then you can apply Bactroban cream over the area and it ought to heal.

Ill attach some images. The left side of pee hole seems a little irritated and red. The pic ill link shows some discolor. Purple and red almost bruise like. My frenulum tore about 4 months ago and the white flesh you see there is whats left from the detachment. Not sure if its related

Brief Answer:
It's likely to be a local infection.

Detailed Answer:
If you never had unprotected sex, there is no need to test for herpes.
Lesions do not have to be classical vesicles .
The burning is due to the urine falling on the inflamed area.
