Brief Answer:
Either lymph node swelling or skin infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
From the description,it looks like either you have developed a lymph node swelling or a superficial skin infection.
I would like to know certain more details to reach a final diagnosis.
Is the lesion visible over the skin or is it inside the skin only.
Any redness in the affected skin.
Was it a sudden onset swelling or did it slowly develop.
Any painful lesions over the scalp or any dandruff.
Do you have sore throat or any problem in the mouth or any dental problem.
Also it would be great if you can click some close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page. It will help in finding the exact cause of such a presentation.

Brief Answer:
Lymph node inflammation,should heal soon

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

You seem to have developed a lymph node inflammation.
Development of such a lesion in the area behind the ear is very common. It can develop due to any minor infection in the scalp, neck or oral cavity which our body tries to contain ,leading to such a lymph node swelling.
You simply need to take some oral anti inflammatory agent like paracetamol tablet twice a day for two to three days. This will bring down the swelling.
Such lesions are self limiting insist cases and tend to heal slowly by themselves ,so don't worry and take treatment as advised .
However,in rare case if the swelling tends to persist even after a week or tends to persist, then you might have to see a local doctor.
