Brief Answer:
Are you able to bear weight on it?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this fall that you suffered. In addition to pain medications, bandage and rest, I recommend that you apply ice packs to help with the swelling and pain. What medications are you taking? A combination of both tylenol and motrin would be more effective than just one.

The pain should reduce significantly within 48hours. If that fails to happen, please consider visiting a doctor for examination and maybe an x-ray to find out if there are any underlying problems. If no problems are found with the bones and ligaments, you would be given more potent pain medications that require a doctor prescription.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
