Brief Answer:
There may be a number of causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic, Thanks for writing to us,

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad, I have read your question, I understand your concern and will try to help you in the best possible way.

First of all lets consider simple things, Like look at the temperature of the room is it warm?

Then see if you slept in same posture for hours and hours that might have caused sweating.

Sometimes if one is diabetic or haven't taken a good meal in night or the gut empties and sugar levels fall down this can cause sweating.

A nightmare during sleep can cause it.

UTI , flu or fever can cause it.

If there is nothing among them then check your blood pressure and eat something , if you can check you sugar levels check them then we can discuss further about it.

But here I would like to assure you that just sweating is nothing to be worried about.
