Brief Answer:
mild analgesic will allievate the pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for trusting health care magic.
If the pain is mild take tablet paracetamol and see if it subsides but in case it doesn't and the pain is unbearable then visit Emergency room and consult a doctor for local examination.
At all times avoid sexual activity of any kind and ask her to drink a lot of water.
Most probably it is due to instruments used for IUI as it is a common occurrence or may be because of resting oedema as after IUI most patients take ample rest in lying down position thus leading to fluid accumulation in this area.
In both the situations there is little to worry but if pain becomes worse then visit your doctor.

Brief Answer:
not related to periods at all

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, as the IUI was done on 30th April which implies she must have ovulated either on 29th or 30th so it will take another 12-14 days for her periods to commence if at all pregnancy doesn't happen so this breast pain cannot be due to imminent periods.

I do almost 15-20 IUI procedures a month and believe me 5-7 patients out of them complain of menstrual symptoms within a week of procedure so just keep taking the medicine in prescribed doses and as scheduled.
Let's hope for the best and may god bless her with a healthy pregnancy.
