Question: Nov 2014. Dx left invasive breast cancer. Lumpectomy. Radiation X 6 wks. No chemo.
April 2016. Right breast biopsy. Dx Duct Ectasia. XXXXXXX 2016 fell. Had ACDF. Successful. But left with throat sensation of walnut stuck in throat & I think oesphogitis. It's constant & gets progressively worse.
Ovrober 2016. Yearly mammogram. NAD, but it caused pain Excruciating on both sides. Left breast developed either an abscess or burst more duct discharge. Very painful. Antibiotics prescribed by GP. Nov 2016. Physical exam revealed node swollen but sentinel nodes had been removed on left side. Still tender. Sent for needle biopsy by ultrasound Y breast surgeon. Radiolographer said all was ok & did not do biopsy. But I have chest wall & breast pain still on that side. Is it angina family history of heart probs is dire. or should I seek 2nd opinion. Brief Answer:
This pain is mostly due to radiation you had.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Possibility of breast related pain is less as your mammography is normal.
Possibility of heart related pain is also less.
In my opinion, your pain is mostly due to radiation you had.
Radiation causes nerve damage in local area and this can cause pain.
So take tramadol (centrally acting painkiller).
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
