Brief Answer:
you may need inhaled bronchodilators

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation.

In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done PFT (pulmonary function test).
PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
It will also tell about severity of the disease.
And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
Oral steroids should not be started routinely in all patients of bronchitis. There are certain indications for oral steroid in bronchitis. Instead of this you should start inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). ICS are note safer and preferred then oral steroid, and hence should be started in bronchitis.
So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.

Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
