Suggest Treatment For Pain Above The Eyebrows

default
Posted on Mon, 14 Nov 2016
Question: Hello,

I have had pain slightly above my right eyebrow, toward the temple area. It's on and off almost like a pinching pain every day. Some days worse than others and the spot is very tender to touch. Feel bruises and if I touch it and let go the pain lingers for a few seconds after words. It's been about a month now and I have no idea if this is at all related to a sinus issue.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Sinusitis very likely, imaging confirmation is necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

In my opinion, sinusitis is the most possible condition that may explain your symptoms.

However, imaging studies confirmation is necessary in such cases, so, it is advisable to be evaluated by an ENT Doctor and to get evaluated by imaging such head CT scan.

If CT scan results are negative, (or no cause is noticeable), primary headaches such tension type, cluster headache should be considered.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
