Brief Answer:
I recommend an EMG of the foot

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

Numbness in the feet is not an uncommon symptom at your age. The most common cause is diabetes which you have already ruled out. Then, it is important to see the distribution of the sensation in your feet, if it is bilateral, if it involves the upper extremities and if there is any other sign associated with the numbness.

The first thing to do next is an electromyogram and nerve conduction studies which are simple and give a lot of information on the degree of the nerve involvement and also can help on the possible cause. That is the first step I highly recommend.

Hope this helps with your question, please feel free for further questions.

Brief Answer:
neurologist consult

Detailed Answer:
Hello again. You should have a neurologist consult first to have a peripherical neurological exam. This in my opinion should be preeceded by an EMG which is sometimes performed by a neurologist, so have both in the same time.
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
